"Conserving ourselves, matter, sense. Cleaning and caring and maintaining in denial of a constant material disintegration. The holding together of meaning and of object hierarchy, of status, against stasis. Archives, bunkers, vaults. Chests that contain, chests that convulse. Drawing contains, drawing convulses, exhausting the excess of the universe. Exhausting our own excesses."

Ruth & Alexander are artists and labouring entropic deniers. Desirous for stasis and desperate to hold it back. Scottish in Tromsø. Co-founded Failure, Understanding, Care (&Kunst), graduated from Tromsø Academy of Contemporary Art and Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design.
